Greetings CIK members,

I was a little surprised the other day to hear from the grapevine that the CIK had taken down its
CIKdiscussion@yahoogroups.com mailing list. Not true! It's live and well.

Recently Ed Soehnel posted an inquiry for companies to help him test a network access wizard for a
small desktop application his company has developed. Doug Norvell posted job opportunities for
BizTalk? and .NET engineers and project managers. Beate Hybinette posted two technical support
positions, and ended up getting a lucrative contract instead. Russ Krajec hung out his shingle after
finishing law school looking for potential clients who need patent preparation and prosecution
services. And Derek Scruggs posted for a friend of his who was looking for setting up a blog.

This list is open for any type of inquiry: job postings, needed resources (office space, employees,
), hanging out your shingle, bragging about your recent exploits, requests from your friends,
expressions of appreciation -- you name it; you can post it.

If you hear of somebody who isn't receiving our mail, have them get in touch with me and I'll be
happy to set them up and test their spam settings. Participation in ciksicussion@yahoogroups.com
is free of charge. It's not moderated, but you must be on the list to mail to the list. In addition,
all past messages going back many years are all online for searching and browsing.
