Subject: Test of Collaboration Tools for CIK

Good morning!

We're doing some experimenting with the CIK "delivery systems". In the past
we've used the content management system provided by Viadesto and the email
management provided by Yahoogroups.com. We may continue using these tools,
or we may change to others.

The present experiment involves replacing Yahoogroups.com with collaboration
tools that afford more interactions among individuals, special interest
groups, and the entire CIK membership. In short, what would the CIK look
like if it were running on http://groupcommons.com -- software I've been
developing for several years to manage membership organizations like the
CIK.

This is an experiment. All present services will remain in place for the
unforeseeable future. Some of you may particularly want to participate;
other may not. If you are interested in participating in this beta, please
send me your most current details -- name, company name, address, phones,
etc. I'll provide login credentials. If you would particularly like to be
excluded, let me know. I'll take it from there.
