Dear Friends of BCO:
Yes. It is time for another fantastic event with the Boulder Chamber Orchestra! Our Halloween special concert; Tunes from the Crypt!
Join us for an evening of mysterious and unique music for Organ, Timpani and Strings that should give you chills and goose bumps on the eve of the Halloween weekend.
We will start the event by performing the magnificent drama of the tone poem Rakastava (the Lover), by Jean Sibelius, then add on the excitement by playing the Simple Symphony of Benjamin Britten. We will then treat you (and maybe trick you as well!) to an exciting second half dedicated to the celebration of Halloween. Our master Organist, Michael McBride? will showcase Poulenc's concerto for Organ, Timpani and Strings as well as the beloved Adagio for Strings and Organ by Tomasso Albinoni.
Join us on October 27, at 7:30 PM at the First Baptist Church, 1237 Pine Street, in downtown Boulder.
